We had the presence of esteemed  guests and dignitaries who motivated the students to work consistently on the path of smooth conduction of their academic journey.

The orientation programme witnessed the presence of our Chief Guest for the occasion Prof C.P Upadhyaya ,Head and Dean Faculty of Law BHU. Sir gave valuable indepth knowledge of law as a career for overall development of an individual.He primarily focused on how to use law, logic and language in the discipline of law and imparting the need of practical training for courses like Law.

The session was also honoured by the presence of Shri Vijay Kumar Vishwakarma,ADJ and Secretary District Legal Services Authority.Our special guest also highlighted the importance of District Authority in imparting services to the society and working on the concept of egalitarian justice .

Our students were enlightened by the presence of Director SMS Varanasi, Prof P.N.Jha Sir  who meticulously  articulated of how law as a career is one of the promising fields in contemporary times.

The welcome address was given by Principal SMS Law College Varanasi , Dr.Prabhat Kumar Srivastava Sir who extended a warm welcome to the newly admitted students .

We were deeply honoured to have among us today to grace and bless us on this orientation programme. Heartfelt thanks to our Registrar Sir , Shri Sanjay Gupta Sir ,Prof Rajkumar Singh Sir, Pratima Bhargava Mam , Dr.Sangeeta Singh Maam and Dharemendra Sir.

The session Coordinator for the event was done by Dr.Upasana Wali, Assistant Professor SMS Law College Varanasi and vote of thanks was done by Dr. Ashraya Dubey Maam , Assistant Professor SMS Law College Varanasi.

The second session of the ist day of orientation programme witnessed the presence of Prof .Avinash Chandra Supkar Sir who introduced students with the need and importance of reading in students life.The session was concluded by Mr.Atish Khadse sir, Associate Professor , SMS Varanasi  who  introduced students on the need of inculcating the virtues of discipline in ones life.

The Second Day of the Orientation Programme of B.A.LLB  batch of 2024  held on 4th October 2024 was conducted by giving an overview of the B.A.LLB Programme to our newly admitted students.The session was meticulously coordinated by each faculty member of SMS Law College.   We had the presence of Principal SMS Law College, Dr.Prabhat Kumar Srivastavs, Dr.Ashraya Dubey Assistant Professor SMS Law College, Dr.Upasana Wali, Assistant Professor SMS Law College,  Dr.Sangeeta Singh , Assistant Professor SMS Law College and Mr.Ankit  Rai, Assistant Professor SMS Law College.

All faculty members gave thoughtful perspectives of the subjects which will be taught under the B.A.LLB Programme They also elaborated on the importance of each subject in the B.A.LLB Programme.

An interactive session with the students was also conducted where each student shared their views on choosing Law as a Profession. Students also gave some insights into their hobbies and interests.
