SMS Law College believes in holistic development of its student.In  order to achieve the goal and  objectives of holistic development SMS law college offers number of skill and academic-learning activities and courses through SMS Law College  Career and Guidance Cell.

The Career and Guidance Cell (CGC) of SMS Law College organizes various programs guiding the students of every new batch for preparation of competitive examination,counselling for higher studies and job placement offer on and off campus with top reputed law firms and corporate houses of national and international repute.

The Career and Guidance Cell of SMS Law College is intended primarily to assist students in their career planning and provides information that helps the students to give a direction to their aspiration and interests.

Followings are the objectives of Career and Guidance Cell

1. The Career and Guidance Cell provides Career Counselling services in various areas for our students.This enable and aid the students to decide and choose the best and most suitable career option.

2. The Career and Guidance Cell provides various skill based  training programme for developing skills needed for contemporary competitive and diverse  legal  job market.

3. The Career and Guidance Cell organizes special and expert lectures on interview skills, personality development, communication skills, leadership skills, resume writing, analytical skills, quantitative ability, verbal and reasoning skills essential to all competitive exams through soft skill development program

4. The Career and Guidance Cell Cell organizes various programme to create awareness about the importance of higher studies and research in India and Abroad.

5. Th Career and Guidance Cell offers special coaching and training to the students for preparation of various competitive examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission ( IAS/IPS/ and other allied services), State Public Commission ( PCS/PCS (J)/APO and other allied services) and Law Officer in Public Sector Units etc.

6. The Career and Guidance Cell will make an endeavour to sign MOU with different law firms and legal industry for practical and vocational learning for the students.
