Students of SMS Law College proudly participated in the Youth Parliament – Tarun Sabha held at DAV PG College, which proved to be a remarkable three-day parliamentary experience.On Day Zero, the session commenced with the Hon’ble President’s Address followed by the Oath Ceremony, formally marking the beginning of the proceedings.On Day One, an in-depth discussion was held on the Financial Budget 2026, where participants actively debated key economic policies and national priorities.On Day Two, the House deliberated on a bill concerning Article 124(4), leading to a thought-provoking debate on judicial accountability and constitutional provisions.

Among the participants, Vivek Sonkar (4th Semester), representing the Opposition under the Shadow Ministry of Labour and Employment (O19), was awarded the Best Content Researcher Award. The award was presented by Shri Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Industrial Development, Export Promotion, NRI and Investment Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Samridhi Rai (4th Semester), representing the Ruling Party under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, also actively contributed to the proceedings. The event served as an enriching platform, enhancing practical understanding of parliamentary procedures, debate, and policy-making.
