SMS Law College orchestrated a grand event in honor of the 74th Constitution Day.

We were privileged to have Prof B. C. Nirmal, Former Vice Chancellor of the National University of Study and Research, Ranchi, Jharkhand, graced the occasion as our esteemed chief guest. Prof Nirmal passionately delved into the vital role our constitution plays in ensuring equal participation across all segments of society.Prof. P. N. Jha, Director of SMS Varanasi, illuminated the gathering with profound insights, emphasizing the foundational significance of every word in the preamble. The essence of socialism, he expressed, is deeply embedded in both our constitution and our nation.

Dr. Prabhat Kumar Srivastava, Principal of SMS Law College, eloquently painted the Indian Constitution as a masterpiece, seamlessly blending diversity and flexibility, serving as a potent remedy for the nation challenges. The spirit of our country, he stressed, lies in the powerful ideas of free expression.The occasion also witnessed a lively debate on the "Nature of Constitution of India" and "Separation of Power," where law students passionately participated, showcasing their enthusiasm and knowledge.

A special acknowledgment to Dr. Ankit Rai for extending a warm welcome and Assistant Professor Dr. Upasana Kaul for skillfully moderating the session. The vibrant presence of students and faculties from SMS Law College and SMS Varanasi added to the intellectual vibrancy of the event.
